In VO, it was not so immediate to check the type of a variable.
For objects, you need to use IsInstance()
, there are functions like ValType()
and UsualType
other than specialized functions like IsString()
.
In .NET, things are much easier, fortunately.
if uValue is string // do something endif
The is
operator works for all objects, and since in .NET every value type is an object, it works for all value types.
